Hm, might be an option in certain scenarios but it takes too long to cure and the surface of the airbed vinyl is too slick for it…have you tried it? on which part? I’m guessing the flocked areas…since these might offer enough grip.

Hi Suzie, the pump area is the trickiest, it’s where soft vinyl meets hard plastic and no glue can connect a lasting connection. Long-term, you’re probably better off with a new airbed. Thanks

I just bought a intex and found it is leaking around the pump area you lift up on it a little and it really starts leaking. I’m wondering if it can be glued and what type of glue to use since it’s bed to pump.

I feel all your guy’s anger, for me I air up my air mattress every night cause my siblings mom is going through some things right now and she sleeps in the bed with her daughter so I sleep on an air mattress and when I air it up every night I wake up at 5 in the morning with my bed flat to where i can feel the ground and i try to listen but there’s no hissing but i guess i can try the bubble trick

If you tried the methods we talked about here and still can’t find the hole, there’s little you can do beyond that…I’m guessing the leak is coming from the pump seams, which is not something that can be easily fixed. I would advise you to get a new one but I can only imagine how difficult it is to have one shipped to Ghana :/

Here’s a “Hail Mary” try engulfing the whole area where vinyl meets the pump in glue..it might do the trick…

That’s a new one, Tanya…my best guess is an issues with the electronics of the pump. If it’s still under warranty, replace it.

I totally understand Maryann…but the thing is, airbeds leak…even the top ones will have a certain percentage or mysterious leaks even when there’s no visible hole. Again, I understand the frustration but it’s not worth it – just move on and get a new one – we include a number of links to our top picks here.

And yes, even those might leak if you get a faulty one…it’s the nature of the product.

That sounds like a faulty valve – if it’s under warranty, you probably qualify for a replacement Larry.
